This page will walk you through selecting shifts with the Volntir platform.

Step 1: Sign the waiver
The first step is to sign the volunteer waiver. You can sign for yourself and those under 18 who are accompanying you to volunteer. You may either create an account or sign as a guest.
Start by visiting https://volntir.com/volunteer/out-montclair.
Enter your email address to see if you already have a waiver on file.
If you have not yet signed a waiver, you will be prompted to sign it. If you have signed it, you will be taken to your dashboard, instead. If that is the case, see Step 2: Select shifts.
Click the “Sign a waiver here” link.
You have the option to create an account or continue as a guest. Either option is fine.
Enter your details, as well as the details for anyone under 18 who will be joining you to volunteer.
Step 2: Select your shift(s)
Once you have signed the waiver, you can enter the shift management dashboard.
Start by visiting https://volntir.com/volunteer/out-montclair.
Enter your email address to see if you already have a waiver on file.
If you have already signed the waiver, you will be taken to your dashboard. If you have not yet signed the waiver, you will be prompted to sign it, instead. If that is the case, see Step 1: Sign the waiver.
Click continue.
On your volunteer dashboard, you have the option to clock in, view your shifts, and browse and select shifts.
Start by clicking “Browse Shifts” to view available slots and select the roles and times you’re interested in.
People under 18 must have the same shifts as the adult they are volunteering with. If you select the checkbox for a minor, you will both be signed up for that shift.
If you signed a waiver for a minor and want to select a shift for only yourself, leave the checkbox unchecked.
On your volunteer dashboard, you have the option to clock in, view your shifts, and browse and select shifts.
To view or edit your shifts, click “My Shifts”.
Here you can view and edit the shifts you have signed up for.
If you signed a waiver for a minor, their shifts will be displayed here as well.
