Mission
Join us simply to have fun and meet people! Out at Night is our O.G. program – the first to develop and fill a deep need for community and great company. Most, but not all, events are designed for 21+, so we can be together, make new friends, catch up with each other, relax, laugh and be ourselves.
Our events also showcase local businesses and restaurants that embody the spirit of Montclair’s longstanding reputation as a place where all are welcome and belong. We’ve hosted trivia nights, Satur-slay night drag dance parties, Friday night rock climbing, dedicated nights for Out Montclair theater lovers to see a top-notch local production, piano bar singalongs, and rarely does a holiday come and go without a chance for us to make a date, dress up and show up to celebrate these special times with our brilliant and vibrant beloved community.

Recurring Programs
Out at Night has a few recurring programs for our community to enjoy:
- SaturSLAY Drag Night – second Saturday of every month at Porta Montclair
- Sunday SLAYday Brunch – fourth Sunday of every month at Porta Montclair
- LGBTQIA+ Climbing Group – fourth Friday of every month at Gravity Vault Montclair
Get Involved
Out at Night is an active group of volunteers working together to build community all around Montclair by bringing LGBTQIA+ people together at venues all over town.
