Come Out for Montclair Pride!
Join Out Montclair for Montclair Pride® on Sunday, October 11, 2026, as we celebrate our fifth annual festival on National Coming Out Day!
Start with the Equality in Motion march at 10:30 AM, gathering at the Montclair Public Library and heading down Bloomfield Avenue toward Lackawanna Station. Then join the festival from 12–5 PM at Lackawanna Station in Montclair, NJ.
What to Expect
Bring your friends, chosen family, partner, neighbor, or just yourself. Whether you’re ready to dance, meet someone new, reconnect with old friends, or simply spend time somewhere welcoming, there’s a place for you here.
National Coming Out Day reminds us that visibility matters—and that everyone deserves a community that shows up. Coming out is personal, and everyone moves at their own pace. However you identify and wherever you are in your journey, you deserve joy, connection, and belonging.
The festival will feature:
- Main Stage with inspirational speakers and live performances
- Family Zone with interactive programming, arts and crafts, and activities for all ages
- 150+ vendors, including local businesses, food, artisans, and community organizations
- Beer and beverage gardens, food trucks, specialty treats
- Entertainment and experiences for all ages
- VIP Hospitality Lounge (get tickets)
Montclair Pride is free to the public and accessible to all!

About Montclair Pride
Montclair Pride® has grown into one of New Jersey’s most vibrant and celebrated LGBTQ+ events, bringing together community, visibility, advocacy, entertainment, and joy for an unforgettable day of Pride.
From live entertainment and community programming to family activities, food, art, and cultural experiences, Montclair Pride creates space for connection, expression, and belonging across generations.
Produced by Out Montclair, Montclair Pride remains both a celebration and a visible reminder that LGBTQ+ people deserve joy, safety, representation, and community every day.
We need your help to keep Montclair Pride a free event. Please contribute to our GoFundMe by making a donation, sharing our campaign with your network, or both! Every dollar raised will go directly toward expenses for Montclair Pride 2026.
The sign up for volunteer shifts is now open! If you want to be a part of the team that makes this festival happen, select a shift.
Be You. Be Heard.
Montclair Pride marks its fifth year as a powerful expression of community and belonging. Produced exclusively by Out Montclair, this annual celebration brings together thousands across the region to honor identity, amplify voices, and support LGBTQ+ life year-round.
What began as a bold vision from nonprofit Out Montclair Inc. founded in 2022, has become a signature event that welcomes attendees from Montclair, Essex County, and across Northern New Jersey and the greater New York area. Importantly, Montclair Pride also helps support Out Montclair’s year-round programming for the LGBTQIA+ community, including educational initiatives, cultural programming, advocacy, and community-building events.
Volunteer at Montclair Pride
Volunteers are essential to making Pride possible every year. From helping with set up, tear down, fundraising, and welcoming guests to Pride, there’s something for you!
