Join us Saturday, June 8th for what Visit NJ ranked among the top suburban Pride events in the nation;  Montclair Pride. This sprawling daylong festival, presented by Audi Tristate Dealers, spans five blocks in the heart of downtown Montclair and is just steps from NJ Transit. The epic festivities will run from 12pm to 6pm, followed by a Street Dance Party from 6pm to 9:30pm and an official After Party from 9pm to 1am. at Alto rooftop of The MC Hotel.

Come on down for:

  • A jam-packed lineup of 9+ hours of entertainment across 3 stages including: MC Hotel’s Main Stage hosted by the outrageous emcee Shi-Queeta-Lee and headlined by groundbreaking drag queen Peppermint. The Rainbow Reading Stage emceed by the dynamic and divine Lady Keyante and our Open Call Stage emceed by the magnificent Mimi Sashimi.

  • Over 190 vendors offering the ultimate shopping experience while supporting local businesses, artisans, crafters and community organizations.

  • 3 bars and a Beer Garden stocked with beer, wine, bubbly and cocktails to keep the party going.

  • 1 giant monitor in the Beer Garden screening all the action from the Main Stage so you don’t miss a moment.

  • A diverse array of food trucks and vendors offering sweet and savory options to fuel the festivities.

  • The fabulous Jenny Henny channeling Taylor Swift with 3 dazzling sets.

  • The Family Zone, sponsored by IKEA, is a kid-friendly oasis with games, activities, the Rainbow Reading Stage featuring hourly Drag Story Time hosted by Lady Keyante, DJ No Requests spinning tunes, and local talent performing. We invite all families to come play, create, make friends and make memories! 

  • Fingerpaint an Audi vehicle!

  • An Open Call Stage allowing amateur performers to sign up on the spot to show off their talents.

  • A 3.5-hour street dance party after the festival with DJ Vito Fun.

  • The Official Pride After Party at MC Hotel’s Alto Rooftop with DJ Toni B NYC keeping the celebration going into the night.

Headliner Peppermint, Emcee Shi-Queeta-Lee, DJ Vito Fun, Suzi, She’s All That, Mariah Ayscue, Eddie Nicholas, She Ain’t Right, Jenny Henny, Joe Colwell, The Ordinary Kids’ Rocky Horror Revue, Amanda Is Tall, Pride Choir, Brandi Chavonne Massey, Daryl Stewart, the cast of Vanguard Theater’s Pippin, and the School of Rock Montclair House Band.


Rainbow Reading Stage talent includes:

Jenny Henny as Taylor Swift, DJ No Requests, Bern Strong, Austin Halls, Beyond the Boogie, Sunnie, Jake Ortiz, Laura Daniela Rodriguez, Tiger James, and Hillside Elementary’s Drums of Thunder.


Parking and Transit: Bloomfield Avenue traffic from Valley Road to N. Fullerton, Church Street, and Park Street from Church Street to Portland Place will be closed to traffic to accommodate the festivities. For those coming from out of town, NJ Transit runs trains from NYC and Newark to Bay Street Station. Montclair has over 1,500 public parking spots Including: Bay Street Deck, The Crescent Deck, Valley Road Deck, Midtown Parking Deck, and surface lots at Lackawanna Plaza, South Willow and South Fullerton.
