National Coming Out Day
Montclair Pride 2026 will now take place on Sunday, October 11, 2026, in conjunction with National Coming Out Day, a nationwide observance celebrating LGBTQ+ visibility, authenticity, and community.
As preparations continue, Out Montclair is working with community partners, sponsors, volunteers, and municipal stakeholders to ensure the event’s success. We invite businesses, organizations, and individuals to explore sponsorship and partnership opportunities and join the growing movement to “Come Out for Montclair Pride.”

Montclair Pride marks its fifth year as a powerful expression of community and belonging. Produced exclusively by Out Montclair, this annual celebration brings together thousands across the region to honor identity, amplify voices, and support LGBTQ+ life year-round.
What began as a bold vision from nonprofit Out Montclair Inc. founded in 2022, has become a signature event that welcomes attendees from Montclair, Essex County, and across Northern New Jersey and the greater New York area. Importantly, Montclair Pride also helps support Out Montclair’s year-round programming for the LGBTQIA+ community, including educational initiatives, cultural programming, advocacy, and community-building events.
What to Expect
From live performances and community resources to food, vendors, family-friendly experiences, and Pride-filled energy all day long, Montclair Pride is more than a festival. It is a celebration of who we are, what we value, and the power of showing up for one another.
For 2026, Montclair Pride relocates to Lackawanna Station, creating a dynamic, immersive festival experience while maintaining the scale and energy attendees have come to expect.
The festival will feature:
- Main Stage (Grove Street) with inspirational speakers and live performances
- Spotlight Stage (Bloomfield Ave) showcasing local and emerging talent
- Family Zone with interactive programming, arts and crafts, and activities for all ages
- 150+ vendors, including local businesses, food, artisans, and community organizations
- Beer and beverage gardens, food trucks, specialty treats
- Entertainment and experiences for all ages
Montclair Pride is free to the public and accessible to all!
